Dr. Chelsea Guymer

General Practitioner with special interest in young women’s health and pelvic pain


Dr Guymer trained in medicine and surgery at The University of Adelaide followed by specialist training in General Practice through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has experience in children’s health and obtained her Diploma of Child Health in 2011. Dr Guymer also works as a GP at Adelaide Health Care and has a special interest in women’s health. Dr Guymer practices obstetric shared care and is well versed in antenatal care, family planning, issues with periods and fertility.

Dr Guymer is passionate about women reaching their full potential. She is interested in helping women with pelvic pain, painful periods, irregular periods and other women’s health issues at Pelvic Pain SA. She is trained in both Mirena IUCD and Implanon insertion.

  • Dr Guymer consults at Pelvic Pain SA on Tuesdays.

  • No referral is required and both insured and uninsured patients are welcome.

  • Appointments can be made by ringing our rooms on 08 8363 2811.

  • The gap (out-of-pocket cost) for a consultation is $119.50 for a first visit and $74.30 for review visits.
